Geraldine Phillips of Canyon, Texas passed away on November 5, 2023. There will be graveside services and burial at 2:00 PM at Lawn Haven Cemetery on November 8, 2023, with pastor Garry Sutton officiating. Arrangements are by Steed-Todd funeral home.

Geraldine Phillips was born in Fort Sumner, New Mexico to John Ed and Ola Bailey on November 18, 1927. She attended school in Fort Sumner. She married Frank Phillips on May 17, 1951 in Clovis.

Geraldine was a homemaker and mother to her three children. She also worked part time at an embroidery shop part time which she loved. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist church, first in Clovis and later in Amarillo.

She is preceded in death by her husband, I. F. Phillips, parents John Ed and Ola Bailey, her brother Ralph Bailey, sisters Yvonne Morton and Olivine Hoover, and great grandson Lane Hopper.

She is survived by her sister Jonnie Lea Licht of Collegedale Tennessee, three children, Linda Lavender of Amarillo, Jimmy Phillips of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, and Mark Phillips and wife Lisa of Amarillo. Six grandchildren, Holly Lavender, Cody Phillips and wife Amber, Leslie Hopper and husband Lynn, Angela Pelton and husband Bo, Alyssa Phillips, Jenna Phillips and eight great grandchildren, Benjamin Hamar, Jeremey Hamar, Tyler Phillips, Brooklyn Phillips, Bailie Tello and husband Andrew, Savannah Hopper, Nathan Hopper, and Braeden Pelton.
