Gilbert Gilliam, Age 86, of Farwell, Texas passed away October 22, 2015 in Farwell, Texas.

Gilbert was born September 28, 1929 in Quana, Texas to Emery Clinton and Lena Elsie Gilliam (Scillian). Gilbert married Bobbie in White Flat, Texas on May 24, 1952. Gilbert enjoyed woodworking, carving, and also painting pictures. He loved spending time with his family and loved ones. Gilbert also had a passion for gardening and fishing.
Gilbert is preceded in death by his parents Emory and Lena Gilliam, Jimmy, Wayne, Dean, Lester, and Jeremy Gilliam.

He is survived by his wife Bobbie Gilliam, his daughters Vickie Hunker, and Jeanette Horne, sons Jack Gilliam and David Gilliam. Grandchildren Clinton Hunker, Lura Hunker, Angela Roberts, Nicole Gilliam, Joel Horne. Great Granchildren Patrick Marmon, Shelby Roberts, Channing Scott, Chloe Hunker, Akira Hembrook. Brothers Vester Gilliam, Corky Gilliam, and sister Linda Butler.

Services for Gilbert were held 1:00 P.M. - Monday, October 26, 2015 at Texico Baptist Church in Texico, New Mexico.
