Gloria Bargas

Gloria M. Bargas, age 75, of Clovis, NM, passed away on November 8, 2013 at her home in Clovis, NM.

Gloria was born on June 25, 1938 in Pintada, NM to Cruz and Emily Ulibarri Garcia. She married Gene Bargas on May 29, 1954 in Clovis, NM. Gloria was a very loving wife and mother. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gloria loved to go to bingo and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Bargas of Clovis, NM her mother, Emily Garcia of Clovis, NM two sons: Mike Bargas Joann of Portales, NM and Mark Bargas Cindy of Clovis, NM three daughters: Gloria McDowell, Liza Bargas and Cindy Quintana, all of Clovis, NM two brothers: Joe C. Garcia and Joe I. Garcia, both of Clovis, NM two sisters: Lillian Armijo and Lucille Ramirez, both of Clovis, NM fifteen grandchildren and twentynine great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by two sons: Teddy and David Bargas one daughter: Geneva Rochelle Bargas her father: Cruz Garcia and two brothers: Gilbert and Bobby Garcia.

A Rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Clovis, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Clovis, NM with Father Fernando Saenz officiating. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis, NM Pallbearers are Jimmy Bargas, John McDowell, Teddy Bargas, Jr., Robert Castillo, Rick Bargas and Guadalupe Quintana. Honorary pallbearers are all of Glorias grandchildren and great grandchildren.
