Gloria Patterson

Gloria Sue Patterson age 57 of Clovis passed away Monday, December 31, 2007 at her home. She was born October 13, 1950 to Jesse J. and Ruby Thornton Wood in Dallas, Texas. She married Stan Patterson July 30, 1970 in Farmington, New Mexico. She was a Clovis resident for the passed 37 years. She helped her husband for many years in their businesses, a bridal shop and the Snazzy Pig restaurant in Clovis. In later years she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a dedicated Foster Parent for many years, was a member of Central Baptist Church where she was active in the choir.

She is survived by husband Stan of the home; one son Chris Patterson of Clovis; two grand daughters Alyssa and Morgan; one grandson Noah; one brother Gary Wood of Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Services are scheduled for Thursday, January 3, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Dick Ross and Judy Kern officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Baptist Childrens Home in Portales.
