A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday August 23, 2015 at Faith Christian Church in Clovis, NM with Pastor David Swann officiating.
Willie was born in Long Island, NY to Guillermo Perales Sr and Iris Vasquez. In 1976, he moved to Clovis to begin his life. He married Audrey Perales on September 6, 2014. Willie was known to most as "June Bug". One of the most favorite things for him was spending time with all his grandchildren, kids, and family. He kept himself busy and active in softball for several years. He enjoyed the outdoors such as going to the lake, traveling to places such as his home place in Puerto Rico. He loved sports such as football "GO Giants!" and who can forget baseball! "Yankees Baby!" Willie worked on cars and did bodywork for several years and took pride in all his work, some you still see around town! Willie loved music and danced to anything with a good beat. He was the life of the party all the time. He loved riding his Harley and attended several rallies with good friends. He had a heart of Gold and loved unconditionally and anybody who knew him or came across him was left with an unforgettable impression. Although he was very crafty in all areas of labor, he later went on to become Manager/Partner at Mesa Financial. Whether you were family or a friend, you know that you had a special place in his heart. He was a God fearing man and as he would say "If God is for you, then who can be against you."
He is preceded in death by 4 uncles; Nelson Perales, Wilson Perales, Angel Ortiz, Anthony Ortiz and 2 aunt; Evelyn Figueroa and Mildred Ortiz.
Willie is survived by his parents Guillermo and Lucy Perales Sr. and Iris Vasquez, wife Audrey Perales, son Joey Perales, daughter Jessica Perales, son Joseph Tapia, step-son JoDavid Gonzalez, step-daughter Alexsus Ibarra, 6 brothers; Edgar Perales, Edwin Perales (Belinda), Jose Bones, William Perales (Kathy), Michael Ortiz, Sammy Figueroa, and 1 sister Michelle Perales, and 8 grandchildren; Brayden Perales, Seneca Perales, Jacob Perales, Jr. Perales, Josiah Perales, Jaden Tapia, Aubriana Tapia and Rheyana Calderon.
