Harold Dean COWBOY Halliday
COWBOY was a fun loving man with an infectious laugh. He loved race horses, puzzles, western novels and gardening. He was born December 28, 1933 in Clovis N.M. He was a bricklayer for most of his life. He retired in Thackerville, Oklahoma. He went to be with the Lord on October 16, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his father Hilliard Halliday and brotherinlaw Daniel Gentry. He is survived by his mother: Lilia Mae Deats, sister: Flossie Gentry three children: two daughters, Kay Barker of Hagerman, NM and La Deana Lucero and husband Ray of Phoenix, AZ and one son H.T. Halliday of Hagerman, NM four grandchildren: Celia and Tashia Lucero and Travis and Justin Barker two nieces: Midge and Danise great nieces: Brandi, Mariah and Montana one great nephew: Bobby and numerous cousins.
The family greatly appreciates the love and support of Charles and Jeannie of Thackerville during and after Cowboys illness.
Funeral services are at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at SteedTodd Funeral Home Chapel in Clovis, NM. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis, NM. Pall bearers are Ray Lucero, Bobby Rosales, Celia Lucero, Tashia Lucero, Travis Barker and Justin Barker.
In lieu of flowers the family asked contributions be made to your local Cancer society.
