Howard E. Loflin, age 70, of Clovis, NM gained his wings to enter the gates of Heaven on July 25, 2018 in Clovis. He was born on June 15, 1948 in Tahoka, TX to the home of B.H. and Laura (Jaquess) Loflin.
Howard was a US Veteran, he served our country in the United States Air Force and fighting in the Vietnam War. Howard was a NRA member and a gun activist. He was a great artist in leather crafting and enjoyed photography and fishing. Howard also had a love for all things Harley Davidson. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He will be dearly missed by all.
Howard is preceded in death by his father, B.H. Loflin. He leaves behind his mother, Laura Loflin; his sister, Collene E. Baldwin; his children, B. Lee Loflin, Melanie Barns, Laura L. White and Jessica C. Loflin; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation is on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Funeral services are on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, 2:00pm in the Steed Todd Funeral Chapel with Carl Dawson officiating. Cremation will follow.
Serving as honorary bearers are Billy Slaughter, Rusty McIntosh, Verlin Pratt, Jerry Clewis, Jimmy White, Zachery Loflin, Zane Headlee, Jared White, and Jay Duncan.
