Inez Wilkerson

August 20, 1930 — January 7, 2010

Inez Louvenia Wilkerson, 79, of Amarillo, Texas, died Thursday, January 7, 2010, at Heritage Convalescent Center in Amarillo. She was born August 20, 1930, in Lee County, Mississippi to Ernest and Ruby Herring Strickland.

She was a longtime resident of Clovis, New Mexico, before moving to Amarillo four years ago to be close to family. She was a member of High Plains Baptist Church in Clovis.

She is survived by 3 sons, Mike Robinson Rhonda of Amarillo, Cliff Robinson Diana of Clovis and Calvin Robinson of Mt. Pleasant, Texas 7 grandchildren, Terry Robinson of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, Roger Robinson of Amarillo, Texas, Ricky Robinson of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Ronnie Robinson of Perryton, Texas, Marla Golladay of Garden City, Kansas, Sherea Durrant of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Randy Robinson of Mt. Pleasant, Texas 1 sister Helen Grigsby of Clovis and 2 brothers, Narvell Strickland of Hammond, Louisiana and Ernie Strickland of The Villages, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents husbands, Charles W. Robbie Robinson and Thomas LeRoy Wilkerson and 1 brother, Stanley Strickland.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2010 at SteedTodd Chapel with Dr. Charles Miller officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Activity Fund at Heritage Convalescent Center, 1009 Clyde, Amarillo, Texas 79106.
