Jack William Calder
Jack William Calder was born in Carnegie, Oklahoma on March 1, 1923 to Cecil William Calder and Zelma Wilson Calder.

He moved to Clovis, NM in 1937 were he attended Clovis Public Schools and graduated in 1942.

Jack married Mary Evelyn Tucker on April 15, 1943. They have a son James Calder and wife Rosa Lee of Clovis and Kathy Stevenson and husband Ron of Grants, NM.

Jack and Evelyn were blessed with seven wonderful grandsons Kevin Craig, KC, Billy Jim, Robert, Casey, Cody, Cory and Ronnie and one granddaughter, Trish. They were further blessed with thirteen greatgrandchildren. He has one surviving sister, Martha Jeske of Bakersfield, CA.

Jack worked on cattle ranches in Texas and Colorado the biggest part of his life.
He raised his family to love the country life and live by the code of honesty and hard work. He was a living example to all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, one sister and granddaughter, Trish.

Services will be held Monday, October 10, 2011 at SteedTodd Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Kevin Craig KC Calder, Billy Jim Calder, Robert Calder, Cody Stevenson, Casey Stevenson, Cory Stevenson, and Ronnie Dunham. Honorary Pallbearers will be Roye Fulgham, Gary Fulgham, Tommy Knight, Garrett Knight, Chuck Ellis, Paul Adams, Wayne DeWeese, and Sylvester Mayfield.
