If you ever needed help, advice, a laugh or just to be given a hard time, one person you could count on for anything was Jackie Grimes. He was a honorable man who kept you engaged and on your toes and always had his heart in all he ever did. Hard work and dedication were never a stranger to him and his generosity and integrity were unmatched. His life wasn't about what he bought, but what he built, not what he had gained, but what he shared and not about his status, but rather his significance. He left a legacy of inspiration and devotion to all of us. In addition he had a creative passion that was inherent in all he did. His artistic talents were remarkable and spanned many decades and mediums. From drawing and etching to metal art and exquisite jewelry and buckles, his family, friends and neighbors were the lucky recipients of many of his exceptional crafts throughout the years. In all Jackie left something special to all of us who had the fortune to have him in our lives.
On April 28th 2016 Jackie Grimes passed away peacefully in his sleep.
He was preceded in death by his wonderful wife Trudy Grimes, his parents and three of his brothers.
He leaves in his absence a void in the hearts of our family; his mother in law Faye, children Lach and Selina, grandchildren Hailey, Brody, Desmond, Rashel, great-grandchildren Kennedi, Landri and Charli and his many friends.
Please join us to celebrate the life of a truly exceptional man.
