James "Jim" Joseph Blevins peacefully left this earth surrounded by his children at his home on Friday, October 19, 2018. Jim was born December 31, 1943, in Eureka, Kansas, to Otis and Heleneta Blevins.

He is survived by his children, Bryan (Bridget) Blevins of Los Lunas, NM, Shannon (Randy) Pettigrew of Lovington, NM, Reese (Deana) Blevins of Blossom, TX, and Wade (Crystina) Blevins of Shawnee, OK; sister, Betty (Jimmie) Denton of Clovis, NM; grandchildren, Dillon Gibson, Rustin (Taylor) Blevins, Jordan (TJ) Reed, Brittany Pettigrew, JaNaé (Layton) Graham, Raine Pettigrew, Brooklyn Legate, Alie Pettigrew, and Isabella, Porter, & Brix Blevins; great-grandchildren, Makenzie & Haven Reed, Karter Gibson, Ellie Pettigrew, & Oakley Blevins and many nieces and nephews.
