James Arthur Vernon Edwards, 26, of North Versailles, Pa., died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006 in North Versailles, Pa. He was born Jan. 6, 1979, in Clovis. He spent most of his childhood in Anchorage, Ala. He worked as an industrial maintenance worker in North Versailles. He was a member of the band, In The Honor of Thieves.brFamily members said he was a loving father. They said he had four loves of his life: God, his daughter, family and friends and his band.brbrSurvivors include his parents, Richard and Deborah Smith of Clovis; a daughter, Natalie Edwards of Clovis; grandparents, James and Wilma Roller of Clovis; a sister, Rabecca Spencer and husband, James of Clovis; two brothers, Tony Edwards of Seattle, Wash., and Adam Edwards Michelle and daughter, Aubrianna of Fort Worth, Texas; uncles and aunts, James and Susan Roller of Orlando, Fla., Charles and Lynnette Roller of Timonium, Md., and John and Tanya Roller of Orlando, Fla.; cousins, Robert and Michelle Smith and sons, Devan and Tristan, Dwayne and Tonya Goche and sons, Howard and Hunter, Charles Roller and Joshua Roller; a unique group of men and women who were more than friends, Steve, Adam, Adam F, Jack, Dave, Joseph, Marty, David M. and Ethan; and numerous great-uncles and aunts.brbrFamily will receive visitors from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Steed-Todd Funeral Home. Services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Sandia Baptist Church. The Rev. Jason Schwope will officiate.
