J.B. Wall

J.B. Wall, age 84, of St. Vrain, NM, died on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at his home. He was born on January 13, 1927 in Ralls, Texas to James Bryan and Estella Elizabeth Curley Wall.

J.B. served his country in the US Army as a Paratrooper in World War II. He was proud to be a veteran and was proud of the VA Hospital. He married Louise Martin on April 25, 1975 in Roswell, New Mexico.

J.B. ranched at St. Vrain for over 40 years, and was in the heavy construction business for over 20 years. He loved to rodeo, play games with his family, travel, and play poker. He also enjoyed telling jokes and playing the steel guitar. J.B. greatly loved his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents one son, Jim Wall and two sisters, Marie Webster and Evelyn Freeman.

J.B. is survived by his wife, Louise Wall of the home two sons, Ray Westerman of Clovis, and Chuck Wall of San Angelo, TX one daughter, Tammy Miller of San Antonio, TX 11 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 19, 2011, at SteedTodd Chapel with Chaplain Jim Kelly and Chaplain Keath Baskett officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. CDT, Saturday, August 20 at Saline Cemetery in Saline, Texas, near London, Texas.

Honorary casket bearers will be J.B.s grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, Corporal Bryan Wall, Specialist Lance Wall, Staff Sgt. Christy McGee, Michael Westerman, April Lopez, Tye Wall, Matthew Miller, Brandi Wall, Chere Wall, Crystal Wickham, Renee Rosser, Shelby Westerman, Hailey Wall, Caitlin Wickham, Brooklyn Wickham, Braxton Wickham, and Cayden Wickham
