Jean Bain

Services for Jean Elizabeth Bain age 84 of Clovis will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at Steed-Todd Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Brad Reeves officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis. Jean was born April 16, 1924 in Clovis, New Mexico to Oren and Peggy May Hicks Coker. She lived in Ranchvale most of her life and worked as a Telephone Operator at Cannon Air Force Base for 31 years retiring in 1987.She married Richard Bain August 8, 1942 in Clovis. She was a member of Kingswood United Methodist Church and a life member of the Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by her son Ricky and wife Gwen Bain of Clovis; grandchildren Richard L. and wife Tricia Bain of Clovis; Roy Bain of Clovis; Neeley and husband Chuck Yarborough of San Antonio, Texas; Joe Abelar of Clovis; Amanda and husband Matt Von Rotz of Clovis; and Shane Lanaro of Clovis; and eleven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Husband and her Parents.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. The family will be at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, September 1, 2008 for visitation.
