Jennie J. Bojorquez

Jennie J. Bojorquez, 97, of Clovis, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, July 15, 2014. She passed away at her home in the company of her family. Jennie was born on September 24, 1916 to Sixto Juarez and Simona Gaytan, in Flagstaff, AZ. In 1939, she married John C. Bojorquez in Flagstaff, where they raised eight children. In 1971, they moved to Clovis and always claimed to have, a foot in both states.

Jennie loved the Lord and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and greatgreat grandmother. Her hobbies included: gardening, quilting and ceramics. Her family was her greatest pride and joy and she valued the treasure of friendship. She will be greatly missed.

Jennie was preceded in death by her parents her husband of 60 years, a son David J. Bojorquez of Flagstaff, AZ and greatgrandson David J. Trey Bojorquez III of Flagstaff, Az her brother Juarez Jesus, Ralph, Tony, Frank, Joe, Efrain and Pete Warez.

Jennie is survived by her children Ernestine Ruiz, Flagstaff, AZ Ray Rosie Bojorquez, Flagstaff, Az John S. Josie Bojorquez, Valley Center, CA Albert Sylvia Bojorquez, Flagstaff, AZ Charles Maria Bojorquez, Clovis, NM Anita Dale Fite, Clovis, NM Margaret Gonzales, Clovis, NM 23 grandchildren 34 greatgrandchildren and 33 greatgreat grandchildren Brotherinlaw Gilbert C. Bojorquez, Santa Paula, CA, cousin Josefina G. Montes, of El Paso, TX, and numerous nephews, nieces and godchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of SteedTodd Funeral Home, 800 E. Manana Blvd, Clovis, NM 88101, 575 7635541. A rosary will be recited at SteedTodd Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. Mass of the resurrection will be held in Flagstaff, AZ followed by internment in Flagstaff at the Calvary Cemetery.
