Jerry Harlow passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011 at his home surrounded by family and friends. His funeral service will be Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Fellowship, 500 Schepps Blvd under the direction of Pastor Brad Mahan. Viewing will be Monday and Tuesday, December 5th and 6th at Steed Todd Funeral Home.
Jerry was born in Weisbaden, Germany on November 22, 1950 to Johnnie and Donna Harlow. The family moved to Albuquerque when he was 3. He played baseball, flew remote control airplanes with his dad, and graduated from Sandia High School. He attended TVI for 2 years where he studied computer technology. He began his career in computers in 1973 at Duke City Lumber, where he met Irene Neeb, the love of his life. They were married on September 27, 1975. In 1982 they moved to Clovis where Jerry began his 29 year career at Allsups. Starting as a Programmer he advanced to manage the I T Department where he raised the standard of excellence for Allsups Information Services. Out of love and respect, his employees have requested to be pall bearers, Richard Collins, Steve Garcia Harley Gaus, Aurelio Giannitti, Jeff Johnson, Ron Kos, Matt McAlister, Chris McCarty, Joe Smith, Tom Taylor, Anthony Zamora, Saul DeLeon, Bill Gallager, and Jonathan Apodaca.
From flying high as a pilot or on his motorcycle, Jerry loved adventure. He loved the outdoors, astronomy, and music. For the past 14 years Jerrys quiet strength was a mainstay in the weekly worship service at Grace Fellowship. Jerry communicated best through music.
He is survived by his wife Irene, son Kevin Michael, Mother Donna M Harlow, and Brother Jim B. Harlow Jeanna and his faithful companions Max and Daisey. Jerry will be missed by all that knew him.
