Jerry Fury

Jerry Mike Fury, 70, of Grady, NM passed away on January 20, 2017 in Amarillo, TX.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Grady United Methodist Church with Greg Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Grady Cemetery. Arrangements are by Steed-Todd.

Jerry was born in Clovis, NM to Mike and Loretta Fury on July 20, 1946. He attended school at Grady, NM. He married Ola Frances Krivanek on December 19, 1964 in Clovis, NM. He was a lifelong farmer and rancher in the Grady and Wheatland communities. He never met a stranger and cared most about the wellbeing of his family and others. Jerry had a love and compassion for animals, especially dogs. He was a very loyal and forgiving man with a story to tell that would brighten the day of those he came in contact with. Jerry lived and laughed and loved and left.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Tommy.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Ola, son Dennis (Amy) Fury, daughter Debbie (Kerry) Todd, son Michael (Kay) Fury, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Pall bearers will be Quade Fury, Keden Fury, Hunter Edwards, Wade Krivanek, Greg Northcutt and Brent Queener. Honorary pall bearers are Jerry's friends and neighbors.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grady Alumni Scholarship Fund.
