Jerry Greer

Jerry Greer, age 78, of Clovis, New Mexico passed away August 18, 2015 at his home.

A visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2015 at Steed-Todd Funeral Home.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. - Saturday, August 22, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Clovis, New Mexico with Tom Schuj officiating. Cas Velez holt and Gina Wilkerson will be singing. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis, New Mexico

Jerry Greer was born in Clovis, New Mexico to Rufus and Melba Greer on November 22, 1936. He attended school in Grady, NM. Jerry married Wynette Hanson on April 21, 1954 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. He was the proud owner of Broadview Butane for 18 years. He also owned Greer & Greer Trucking Co. for 17 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church, and The Bass and Angler Sportsman Society. Jerry was a loving and devoted husband, father, counselor, and Friend. He will be missed greatly.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Melba Greer; and one sister, Doris Scott.

He is survived by his wife Wynette Greer; three daughters, Vicki and husband Frankie Tipton, Tori Greer, Jill and husband Cory Campbell. Grandchildren; Tasha and husband Chad Southard, Taryn Dedeaux, Ty and wife April Tipton, Micah and Cambri Thompson, Cadyn and Macyn Campbell. Great Grandchildren; Addison and Tatum Southard, Myles DeBow, Maddox Dedeaux, Gunnar and Grydar Tipton, Ava, Caleb, and Joshua Thompson.

Pallbearers will be Frankie Tipton, Ty Tipton, Cory Campbell, Roy DeBow, Tony LaPaglia, and Chad Southard. Honorary Pallbearers are Raymond Drafts, Gene Jameson, Todd Town, Darrell Roach, Jose Martinez, and Billy Hanson.

The family would like to thank Presbyterian Hospice and all those who gave their prayers, love, and support through these difficult times.
