Jerry Wayne Willis, 73, of Clovis, NM went to be with the Lord on March 18, 2018, at his home with his loving wife by his side. He was born on March 8, 1945 to James and Arrah Losey Willis in Galveston County, TX.
Jerry served for the United States Navy and worked in the construction business before his retirement. After retiring, he kept himself busy doing woodwork, making homemade knives and gardening. Jerry also loved listening to country music, especially while he was relaxing and casting his fishing rod. Most of all, he loved his family and enjoyed spending quality family time with all of them. He will be dearly missed.
Jerry leaves behind his wife, Kathy Willis of the home; sons, Chill (Abbygail) Willis of Joplin, MO, Waylon (Donna) Willis of Richardson, TX, Branch (Kerri) Willis of Houston, TX, and step-son, Ricky (Kerri) Gonzales of Richmond, TX; daughters, Desiree (Brian) Wallace of Bushland, TX and Jodi (Paul) Brockman of Amarillo, TX; sisters, Kristi (Billy) Trevizo of Amarillo, TX and Beth Milar of Joplin, MO; plus numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death are his parents, James and Arrah Willis; sister, Lianna Crandell; step-brothers, Charlie Nance and Keith O'dell Nance; step-father, Keith Nance and numerous aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018, 1:00pm at Church of the Brethren, 103 Acoma Dr. in Clovis, with Curtis Brewer officiating.
