Mr. Patterson married Lois on February 2, 1942 in Altus, Oklahoma on the way to her mothers house. They were married for 40 years. He served in the Army during World War II and afterwards came back to northern Curry County and started farming. Mr. Patterson continued to farm until his retirement. He enjoyed playing dominos and was on the domino team in Clovis for many years. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
