Jesse Cantu

Jesus Jesse Cantu, age 82, of Farwell, Texas went to be with Our Father in Heaven on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. He was born on December 21, 1930 in Cadereita NuevoLeon, Mexico to Pedro Cantu Serna and Josefina Garza. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Jesses greatest joy was sharing Gods word and spreading his love to family, friends, and everyone around him. He will be greatly missed Jesse is survived by his loving wife, Guadalupe Cantu of Farwell, Texas 5 sons: Jesse SonOk Cantu of Clovis, New Mexico David Cindi Cantu of Clovis, New Mexico Peter Cantu of Farwell, Texas Frank Cantu of Katy, Texas and Manuel Rosie Cantu of Needville, Texas 2 daughters, Alice Ricky Armstrong of Farwell, Texas and Janie Cantu of Arlington, Texas, 11 grandchildren, and 5 greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by both parents, Pedro and Josefina Cantu 2 brothers, Jose Cantu and Juan Cantu and 1 sister, Carmela Castillo. Pallbearers to be Alex Cantu, Marcos Cantu, Daniel Cantu, Randy Armstrong, Keith Broughton, and Joe Walker. Honorary Pallbearers to be Jesse Cantu, David Cantu, Peter Cantu, Frank Cantu, Manuel Cantu, and all grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Services to be held Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 10:00 CST at Farwell High School Auditorium, 801 Avenue G Farwell, Texas 79325 with Brother Jim Peabody officiating. Inurnment to follow at Sunset Terrace Cemetery of Farwell, Texas.
