Jesse Culpepper

Jesse Floyd Culpepper. Age 82, of Clovis passed away Friday, August 19, 2011 at the Farwell Convalescent Center in Farwell, Texas. He was born September 11, 1928 to Alvin and Rosa Ruth Fryar Culpepper, in Bellview, New Mexico. Floyd married Doris Lea Graham on December 16, 1946 in Clovis, New Mexico. He worked as a Mechanic for various businesses but worked most of his life at Cannon Air Force Base Civil Service. He was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Floyd is survived by his two daughters, Jan Travis Denton of Clovis, New Mexico Donita Carl Woolfolk of Farmington, New Mexico one sister Helen Jack Jennings of Portales, New Mexico one granddaughter Tami Jason Schilling of Oklahoma Lane, Texas three grandsons Gary Wayne Donita Denton of Clovis, New Mexico Kyle An Woolfolk, and Kevin Channa Woolfolk both of Phoenix, Arizona five great grandsons and five great granddaughters.

A celebration of his life will be held with a visitation Sunday, August 21, 2011 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Steed Todd Funeral Home. Closed casket services will be held Monday, August 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Clovis with Alan McAlister officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Denton, Logan Denton, Jason Schilling, Trevor Schilling, Jim Denton, and Bill Chapman. Honorary pallbearers will be his Sunday School Class at Central Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the caring direction of Steed Todd Funeral Home Cremation 800 E.
