Mr. Jesse T. J.T. Johnson, 92, of Clovis, NM has gone fishing with the Lord on Tuesday, March 4, 2014. He was born to William Henry and Lillie Bryan Smith Johnson on October 19, 1921 north of Claud, NM. Jesse served his country as a Crew Chief in WWII from 19421945, where he received an Air Medal, 3 Oak Leaf Clusters and a Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars. After returning, he worked for Marks Pipe and Iron and then he farmed until he retired in 1988, wanting to spend time with his wife, Lena, enjoying activities and traveling with their grandchildren, Jason and Jessica. As a long time member and Deacon of Advent Christian Church of Clovis, Jesses loves were his family, hunting, fishing and camping.
He is survived by his wife Norma Johnson her children his only daughter, Mary Jo Terry Moberly of Clovis, NM grandchildren, Jason Jennifer Moberly of Artesia, NM and Jessica Chris Wilde of Fort Worth, TX greatgrandchildren, Chandler Moberly, Leah Moberly, Jaxson Moberly, Molly Wilde, and Caydon Wilde and one brother, Bob Lucille Johnson of Clovis, NM.
Jesse is preceded in death by his first wife of 49 years, Lena Chandler Johnson who passed March 5, 1995 and one brother George Wilbur Johnson.

Jesses family will receive friends and family at Steed Todd Funeral Home the evening of Friday, March 7, 2014 from 68 p.m.
Burial will be under the direction of Steed Todd Funeral Home on March 8, 2014 at 10:00 am with Greg Martin officiating. Pallbearers will be Jason Moberly, Chris Wilde, Marvin Carter, Bill Adams, Roc Marks, and Anthony Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be JB Hendrix and his Great Grandchildren.
