Jimmy Antonio Tony Mondragon, age 58 of Clovis, New Mexico passed away on December 6, 2012 at Farwell Care and Rehab Center in Farwell, Texas.

He was born on June 29, 1954 in Clovis, New Mexico to Jose E. and Maria Ellena Garcia Mondragon. He was an avid golfer and worked at the City of Clovis municipal golf course for fifteen years. He enjoyed hunting pheasant, collecting antiques, music and dancing. He loved being with his family and friends. Most of all of his friends knew him as Moon

He is survived by three sons: Julio Mondragon, Fabian Mondragon and Jimmy Mondragon, Jr. all of Clovis, New Mexico six brothers: Jeo Mondragon, Gabriel Mondragon, Steve Mondragon, Phillip Mondragon and Raymond Mondragon, all of Clovis, New Mexico and Albert Mondragon of Roswell, New Mexico three sisters: Melea Cordova of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Lucy Hermosillo of Clovis, New Mexico and Lucia Ramirez of Artesia, New Mexico eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents one son: Patrick Mondragon and one brother Jose Mondragon.

Graveside services are at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, 2012 at Lawn Haven Memorial Garden in Clovis, New Mexico with Father Fernando Saenz officiating.
