Joel Raymond Tinkle, 42, of Clovis, New Mexico, died Saturday, May 1, 2010, at his home in Clovis. He was born December 25, 1967, in West Covina, California to Reta Rae Tinkle.
He went to school in Fort Sumner where he excelled in all sports. He had been a resident of Clovis since the late 1980s. He bought a ranch in the Ranchvale Community in the late 1980s. At the age of 18 he was injured in a motorcycle accident and became disabled. He was a member of Jehovahs Witnesses.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia Tinkle of the home one son, Seth Tinkle of the home 5 sisters, Valadine Gravatt of San Diego, California, Valerie Gravatt of Las Vegas, Nevada, Susan Guillen of Ontario, California, Debbie Guzman of San Bernadino, California and Velinda Valenzuela of Vista, California and 1 brother, Victor Gravatt of San Bernadino, California.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Reta Rae Tinkle.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2010, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses with Wallace Nance officiating.
