John Frey

John Frey of Clovis, NM passed away Friday, February 13, 2015 at his home.

He was born in Houston, TX to Samuel and Frances Frey on October 29, 1931. John proudly served his country where he earned several medals. John was a parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion, and The Eagles also begin a bingo caller. John also served as the mayor of Santa Clara, NM for 6 years.

John was a devoted husband and father. He loved spending time with his family and grandson. He never minded helping out others.

John is survived by his wife, Yvonne Frey of Clovis, NM; 3 sons Steve (Laura) Ramirez of Clovis, NM, Johnny (Ida) Ramirez of Clovis, NM, Danny Ray Ramirez of Clovis, NM and 1 grandson Johnny Ramirez Jr. of Clovis, NM.

He is preceded in Death by his mom and dad Samuel and Frances Frey and his sister Betty.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert (Bob) Orlic, Jim Debow, Rick Silva, Steve Ramirez Jr., Johnny Ramirez, and Danny Ray Ramirez.

Visitation will be 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday February 16, 2015 at Steed Todd Funeral Home.

Service for John will be at 1:00 pm, Tuesday February 17, 2015 in the Steed Todd Chapel.
