John Reid

John R. Reid, age 84, went peacefully to be with his master on Wednesday, February 17, 2010. He was the youngest son of A. J. and Minnie Reid of Ranchvale. He was a lifetime farmer of Ranchvale and had a great love for the land.
John was a World War II veteran. He joined the Kingswood United Methodist Church in 1957 and over the years served on many committees. He belonged to the Farmers Union and the Farm Bureau.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Lee Reid of 60 years his son, Wayne Reid Donna of Clovis his daughter Marla Wersonick Mike of Edgewood, New Mexico 3 sisters, Lola Mae Starbuck of Clovis, Viola Mae Jester Buck of Clovis and Lula Aubrey Notman of Farmington 3 grandchildren, Gary Reid of Clovis, Michael Reid of Clovis, and Leslie Sikes David of Clovis 3 greatgrandchildren, Andy, JLea and Austin and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents a sister, Susan Autrey Stockard 2 brothers, Aurthur Joe Reid and Jim O. Reid.
