Johnnie Leonard Hutchison, 63, a resident of Elma, Washington, for five years, died at his home on Friday, May 20, 2005. He was born July 18, 1941 in Clovis, New Mexico to Grant Harrison and Yadie Elnora Young Hutchison.brbrHe was raised in Anchorage, Alaska and graduated from High School there. In 1961 he enlisted in the United States Navy. He served on the USS Constellation off the coast ofbrVietnam. He was discharged in 1965 as a Petty Officer, second class. Mr. Hutchison was a member of the Teamsters Union from 1965 until he retired in 2000. From 1965 tobr1985 he had worked in Alaska for Weaver Brothers Construction as a truck driver. He continued truck driving after moving to Everett and also following the move to Elma.brbrOn May 9, 1999 he married M. Kristiane Schenk in Everett. She survives him at the family home in Elma. Mr. Hutchison was interested in restoring his 1941 Buick and driving his 1957 Chevy Bel Aire. Most important to him were his family, his son Grant and stepson, Terry and three grandchildren, Jamie, Stephanie and Jeremy.brbrHe is survived by his son, Grant of Arizona; two brothers, Elmer and Fred both of Elma; a sister, Marie Shaw of California and his three grandchildren.
