Johnny F. Urias, 73, of Lubbock, Texas, died Saturday, August 25, 2007 in Lubbock. He was born June 12, 1934 in San Angelo, Texas.

He had worked as a welder for many years. He had been a longtime resident of Clovis before moving to Lubbock two years ago. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, American Legion Post 25 and AMVETS.

He is survived by his wife, Felipa Gomez Urias of the home in Lubbock; 1 daughter, Anna Marie Sena Martino George of Clovis; 3 grandchildren, Jacquelin Maddox Jacob of Fairbanks, Alaska, Elijio Sena Mona of Clovis and Elicia Salcido Tim of Albuquerque, New Mexico and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Manuela Lucero Urias and numerous brothers and sisters.

The family will be at 112 June.

A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2007 at Steed-Todd Chapel, with Pastor Maurice Monson officiating.

Honorary casket bearers will be members of American Legion Post 25.
