Mr. Willie Ronquillo, age 72, of Texico, NM, died Tuesday, September 20, 2005, atbrPlains Regional Medical Center in Clovis, NM . He was bom June 29, 1933 in Los Ojitos, NM. brHe served in the U. S. Army from 1956 - 1959 and in the Army National Guard irom 1959 to 1979. He was the City Marshal of Texico in the l970's and Sheriff of Guadalupe County for 8 years. He was a member of the American Legion and Amvets. He liked to play pool with his friends at the Amvets every Saturday. He loved fishing.brbrHe is survived by his wife Dorothy Ronquillo of Texico, NM; Three Daughters, Charlotte Ortiz of Albuquerque, NM, Cindy Goodwin of California and Nora Ortiz of Texico, NM; One Son, Willie Ronquillo, Jr. of Virginia; Two Sisters, Antonia Gallegos of Clovis, NM and Gloria of Clovis, NM; Two Brothers, George Zamora of Belen, NM and Horacio Zamora of Clovis, NM; Twelve grandchildren; One great-grandson; Numerous nephews, nieces and frends.brbrCasketbearers will be Johnny Ortiz, Karl Gonzales, Arnold Chavez, Anacleto Ortiz brTommy Ortiz. Mass of the Resurrection will be at San Jose Catholic Church in Texico, NM at 9:00 AM, Friday, September 23, 2005.
