Joseph Chavez

Joseph L. Chavez, 39, of Clovis, New Mexico entered into rest on Sunday, March 8, 2015. He was born on February 21, 1976.

He is survived by the love of his life, Lynnette Medina and family; and a special friend, Alicia Chavez and family; 1 daughter, Angel; 2 sons, Malaki and Joseph Jr; 5 brothers, Manuel F. Chavez of Pueblo, CO, Elton K. Chavez of Albuquerque, NM, Clayton J. Chavez of Clovis, NM, Dayton J. Chavez of Clovis, NM, Carlos C. Chavez of Mississippi; 5 sisters, Ramona Chavez of Rhode Island, Shirley Chavez of Wyoming, Tina Marie Chavez of Clovis, NM, Barbara Moncrief of South Dakota, Ruby L. Chavez of Clovis, NM; and his mother Susan Chavez from Mississippi; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is preceeded in death by his father, Joseph A. Chavez in 1992.

Visitation will be held during business hours 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 17, 2015 and Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Steed Todd Funeral Home. Services for Joseph will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at 1st Baptist Church with Pastor Tom Schuj officiating. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.
