Jovanna Moreno

Jovanna Moreno, 31, of Clovis, New Mexico, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2010, at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. She was born January 25, 1979 in Clovis, to Joaquin Joe Cordova and Mary Doloris Priscilla Steinmetz.

She attended Clovis High School and married Mario Moreno on February 18, 2009. Jovanna enjoyed flowers, gardening, snow skiing, making jewelry, and spending time with family.

She is survived by her husband Mario, one daughter, Elena Marisol Moreno of Albuquerque, her mother two brothers, Joaquin Joe Angelica Cordova of Albuquerque, NM, and Sevriano Robert Nano Stephanie Cordova of Clovis five sisters, Victoria Ann Efrian Ramirez of Lake Arthur, NM, Rebecca Lynn Ross Garcia of Clovis, Maria Elena Joe Cordova of Rio Rancho, NM, Alvina Steven Garcia of Clovis, and Cecelia Manuel Samora of Albuquerque.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joaquin Joe Cordova, and stepfather, Gilberto Lorenzo.

A prayer service will be held on Wednesday, September 8 at 7:00 p.m. at the SteedTodd Chapel. Memorial services will be held Thursday, September 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the SteedTodd Chapel. Burial will have taken place at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis. Casket bearers will be Joaquin Cordova, Sevriano Cordova, Michael Garcia, Ruben Garcia, Alejandro Rascon, Ivan Armendariz, Ryan Wimberly, and Reno Montano.
