Joy Oliver

Joy E. Oliver, age 54, of Farwell, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at her home in Farwell. She was born on May 2, 1957 in Royal Oak, Michigan, to John and Vera Hartness.

Joy married Clinton Oliver on January 13, 1983 in Euless, Texas, and has been a Farwell resident for the past 11 years. She is formerly of Clovis, NM, and Woodland Park, CO. She was a member of Faith Christian Family Church in Clovis.

She is survived by her husband, Clinton, of the home two daughters, Amanda Oliver of the home, and Tabitha Justin Cole of Portales two sons, Jeremy Micah Oliver of Clovis, and William Edward Audrena Chapman of Claremore, OK four grandchildren one sister, Jackie Frank Bueyer of Washington and one brother, Gary Maria Hartness of Saginaw, MI.

Joy is preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Donald Hartness.

Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2011 at SteedTodd Chapel in Clovis in Don Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Portales Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Justin Cole, Dusty Lavorn, Curtis McDaniel, Jeremy Oliver, Jerrod Cole and Dewayne Roberts.
