Joyce Coffman

Funeral services for Joyce Coffman will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. cst at Hamlin Memorial Methodist Church in Farwell, Texas. Interment will follow at Oklahoma Lane Cemetery.

Joyce Coffman was born on July 16, 1920, in Leila Lake, Texas to Fred and Dollie Barker. She was a life long resident of Farwell, Texas. She married E.R.Weedy Coffman on August 20, 1938. She was a housewife and retired caregiver. She died on November 22, 2006, at Prairie Acres in Friona, Texas.

Survivors include her children, Sharon Gallon, Stillwater, Oklahoma, Melody Drake Owen, Friona, Texas, Hobbie Coffman, Farwell, Texas, Alice Ewald Brian, Sun Lakes, Arizona, Gaye Klump Robert, Cedaredge, Colorado and April King, Amarillo, Texas, her sister Bobbi Widner Robert, Portales, New Mexico, sister in laws, Ann Barker, Friona, Texas, Anna Joe Blackburn, Friona, Texas and Minnie Mae Glasscock, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Eighteen precious grandchildren and fifteen wonderful great-grandchildren and a host of dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Weedy Coffman, her son Frank Coffman, grandson Justin Lee Coffman; 3 sisters, two brothers and her parents.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Prairie Acres, Friona, Texas or Boys Ranch, Amarillo, Texas.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Rob Wilson, Bart Coffman, Darren Coffman, Bret Coffman, Wes Drake, Shane Roberts and Clinton Coffman.
