Joyce Lough, 83, of Clovis, New Mexico, died Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Plains Regional Medical Center. She was born February 20, 1927 in Silverton, Texas to Emmett Justine Smith Bomar.
She married C. C. Lough in 1944 in Fort Sumner, New Mexico. She was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Clovis. She was a member of 16th Pile Church of Christ.
She is survived by one son, Paul Lough Sheri of Clovis 2 daughters, Helen Lough of Colorado and Jan Donohew John of Clovis 2 sisters, Freida Swift of Amarillo, Texas and Doris Dodd of Topeka, Kansas 3 brothers, Jack Bomar Marilyn of Phoenix, Arizona, Ted Bomar Alice of Edgewood, Texas and Ed Bomar of Peeples Valley, Arizona 4 grandchildren, Andie Jacobs Tony of Valdosta, Georgia, Matthew Donohew of Clovis, Steffany Miller Wayne of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania and Tom Battiston of Greeley, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
Services will be at 10:00 a. m. Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 21st Street Church of Christ with Tomm Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
Casket bearers will be Justin Underwood, Perry Johnson, Tim Bomar, Ricke Huguley, Bradley Dodd and Billy LeFevre.
