Juan Ballejo

Juan Ballejo, 98, of Texico, New Mexico, died Monday May 24, 2010, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis, New Mexico. He was born May 27, 1921 in Piedra Maria, Mexico, to Cesario and Victoria Aceves Ballejo.

He was a welder. He enjoyed horse races and drinking coffee and Town Country and other cafes. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

He is survived by 1 daughter, Julie Regalado Conrado of Texico 1 son, Jose Ballejo of Jalisco, Mexico 3 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Aurora Navaro Ballejo.

A rosary will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 27, 2010, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Memorial Mass following at 1:30 p.m. with Father Jose Ballejo Hernandez as celebrant. Cremation has taken place.
