Juanita Crucita (Mata) Cordova of Clovis went home on May 23, 2016 to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ.
Juanita was born on November 23, 1921 in Genova, New Mexico, 10 miles north of Logan, New Mexico, to George and Aubrelia Mata.
Survivors include her best friend, Elene Elizabeth Davis of Clovis, NM, 4 daughters, Manuelita Pacheco of Tucumcari, NM, Mary Esther Chavez and husband, Ralph, of Peralta, NM, Cordelia Rosales and husband, Paul, of Ulysses, KS, Lucy Cordova of Clovis, NM, sons, Rudolfo Cordova and wife, Nellie of Alamogordo, NM, Florentine Cordova of Watsonville, CA, one brother, George Mata of Clovis, NM, 21 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Juanita is preceded in death by her parents, George and Aubrelia Mata, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, 2 grandchildren, husband, Pedro V. Cordova, her sons, John Joe, Chris, Robert, Julian, Pete, and one daughter, Audrey.
Juanita enjoyed life, her love of family, faith and her animals. She welcomed everyone into her home, lived with simplicity, but had a lot to offer. She enjoyed laughing and going out for ice cream and lemon slushies from Sonic.
Remember me with laughter, for if you remember me with tears, then don't remember me at all.

I, Lucy Cordova, would like to give a sincere thanks, great appreciation and gratitude to Paul Rosales for all the love, support, and special projects throughout the twenty years my mommy and I journeyed together.
Rosary will be held Friday, May 27, 2016 at 7:30pm at Sacred Heart.
Mass of the Ressurection will be, Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 11am at Sacred Heart.
Burial will be held at Mission Garden of Memories.
Pallbearers: Jamaal Williams, Robert Cordova, Jr., Adam Cordova, Leonard Arias, Jessie Rosales, Cody Cordova, and Julian Rosales.
