Juanita Richards

Juanita (Nita) Richards, 83, of Clovis NM, passed away on July 9th, 2016 in Clovis.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at the First Baptist Church of Melrose with Brother Durward Wofford, of the First Baptist Church of Melrose, officiating. Burial will follow at the Melrose Cemetery.

Nita was born in Melrose, NM to Earl and Opal Frazier on November 18,1932. She went to school in Melrose. She married Joe H. Richards on November 25, 1950 in Melrose, NM.

Nita worked as a secretary/ bookkeeper for the Melrose Municipal Schools for 20 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Melrose, NM.

Nita is survived by her Husband, Joe H. Richards, Daughters, Terri Curtis (and husband Blake), Sherri Carver (and husband Bruce), Grandsons, T.J. Curtis (and wife Aundi), Andrew Curtis (and wife Amanda), Heith Carver (and wife Andie), Granddaughter, Danielle Carver Corbin (and husband Chad), Great-grandchildren, Taydyn, Blake, Jett, Aynslee, Kate, Carter, and Wyatt.

Pallbearers will be Blake Curtis, Bruce Carver, T. J. Curtis, Andrew Curtis, Heith Carver, and Chad Corbin.

Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church of Melrose.
