Juanita Simms

Juanita C. Simms, 83, formerly of Clovis, New Mexico, died Sunday, September 17, 2006 at the Odd Fellow Rebekah Home in Mattoon, Illinois. She was born October 8, 1912 in Hugo, Oklahoma. She was raised by her grandparents, Johnny Mac and Ellen McClure.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Urby J. Hoss Simms; her sister, Oneida; daughter, Fran and grandsons, Tye Simms and Sean Benderman.

She is survived by children Connie Simms, Martha Simms and Bob Hughes, Manzy and Debbie Simms, Rebecca and Hoby Pulford and grandchildren Carmen, Ricky and Heidi Alexander, Weston Benderman and Mandi Silhan.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens with Skip Clark officiating.
