Juanita Woods

Juanita Wilma Woods, 93, of Melrose, New Mexico, passed away on December 18, 2024 surrounded by family in Melrose, New Mexico.

Memorial services will be held at Melrose Methodist Church on December 23, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow services at Melrose Memorial Cemetery in Melrose, New Mexico. Arrangements have been made with Steed-Todd Funeral Home.

Juanita was born in Melrose, New Mexico to Floyd and Wilma Skeen on April 2, 1931. She attended school at Fields High School in Melrose, New Mexico. After graduating, Juanita met J.R. Woods and later married him.

Juanita is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband J.R. Woods, two sons, Charlie and Harvey, two daughters, Linda and Wanda, and four grandchildren, Korylinn, Jake, Josh and June Bug.

She is survived by her children, Susan Morrill and Steve Woods, her sister Doris and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Chuck Woods, Charlie Woods, Ryan Woods, Splinter Woods and Matthew Woods.
