June Roberts, 96, of Clovis, died Wednesday, June 8, 2005, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. She was born on June 24, 1908, to James H. and Mae Belcher Sartain inbrDuncan, Oklahoma.brbrThe family moved to New Mexico in 1923, and farmed in the Fields community. She married James W. Roberts in 1930. They farmed in the Claude community until 1950 then moved to Clovis. She resided at Laurel Ridge Healthcare from May of 2004 until her death. She was a homemaker, and a was a member of Forrest Heights Baptist Church.brbrShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother, Jimmy Sartain.brSurvivors include three daughters, Betty Jean Miller and Billie June Kenemore, both of Clovis, and Nora Mae Weddle of Hugo, Okla.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. brbrArrangement are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
