Junelle Hopingardner

April 22, 1961 — March 28, 2017

Funeral services will be held at 10am MST, April 1, 2017 at First Christian Church with Jon Forrest of First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will follow at the Sunset Terrace Memorial Cemetery of Farwell, TX. Arrangements have been made by the family and Steed Todd Funeral Home and Crematory.

Junelle was born at the Clovis Memorial Hospital in Clovis, NM to Johnny R Miller and Wanda Margaret Miller (Walker) in Clovis, NM on Saturday April 22, 1961 at 4:28am. She attended Farwell High School and Clovis High School. She married Don Hopingardner on March 20th, 1981 in her mother's home in Clovis. They were one for 36 years and 8 days.
Junelle loved to use her hands to make flower arrangements and do crafts. She enjoyed riding on the motorcycle with her husband and was a member of the Grumpy O' Gals Riding Group. With her grandchildren she would spend time in the yard; gardening and planting flowers. She loved playing the piano and singing and dancing. Junelle was a caregiver to all and if you knew you, she worried for you. For quite a bit of time she was a member of the Clovis Community Choir.

Junelle is preceded in death by her father Johnny, mother Wanda, step father Bill Dunn, 2 babies, and numerous aunts and 2 uncles.

Junelle is survived by her husband Don Hopingardner of Clovis NM, son Waylon and daughter-in-law Siobhan Hopingardner of Winter Haven FL , daughter Genea Hopingardner of Amarillo TX, daughter JoAnn Love of Clovis NM and 4 grandchildren. .. Brianna Watson, Weston Hopingardner, JoHanna and Garrett Love, brother Roy Miller of Clovis NM and sister Margaret Dindinger of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Honorary pallbearers are her son Waylon Hopingardner, the Grumpy O' Men Riding Group, her brother Roy Miller, her nephews John Sain, Ricky Sain, and Christopher Miller, and friends and family members.
Memorials may be given to The Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital of San Antonio, TX. The family of Junelle Hopingardner wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all the doctors and nurses, Steed Todd Funeral Home, Jon Forrest and the First Christian Church, along with friends and family who have helped along the way.
