Karen Lucero

Karen Virginia Lucero, 61, of Clovis, NM, passed away April 21, 2015 at St Anthony's Rehab Center.

Karen was born to Warren Van Breckon and Virginia Ruth Hays at Lubbock, TX on June 3, 1953. She was a long time standing client of ENMRSH. Karen enjoyed and looked forward to the Special Olympics each year. She loved her dog Chiquita and her cat Blackie.

She is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Claude and Buren Breckon; Claude and Carrie Hays; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Karen is survived by her husband, Raymond Lucero of Clovis; step-daughters, Sara Rodriquez of Clovis, Judy Rodriguez of Clovis, Mary Jane Ramirez of Clovis, and Cindy Wright of Clovis; brother, Claud Michael Breckon and wife Valerie Breckon of Tatum, NM; sisters, Noel Jeanne Breckon of Midland, TX, and LaQuita Sue Pierce and husband Ed Pierce of Hobbs, NM; sister in law Dorthia Escalan of Texas; aunt and uncle, Claudia and Tommy Dyer of Somerville, TX; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Service for Karen will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday April 25, 2015, in the Steed Todd Chapel. Interment will follow at Mission Garden of Memories.
