Keim Lee Salas, 56, of Portales, NM, passed away January 15, 2016 in Lubbock, TX.

A viewing will be Wednesday January 20, 2016 at 9:00am at Portales Church of God.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday January 20, 2016 at Portales Church of God with Pastor Mike Gilchrest of Portales Church of God. Burial will follow at Portales Cemetery. Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home followed by lunch at Portales Church of God.

Keim Lee Salas was born Portales, NM to Sam and Inez Salas, on July 6, 1959. He went to school at Portales. He married Elizabeth Rodriquez on July 6, 1989 in Portales. He worked as a Delivery Man for Valley Furniture for 11 years and Housekeeping for 4 years at RGH. Keim loved to go fishing with his family was always working or helping others all the time, and most of all LOVED spending time with his Family and Grandkids.

Keim is preceded in death by his parents Sam and Inez Salas, two brothers, Frank Salas and Mike Salas and one sister Kathy Grijalva.

Keim is survived by his wife Elizabeth Salas, daughter Monica Valadez, son Matthew Salas, daughter-n-law Sunnidae Salas, and son TJ Salas. Three brothers, Adolfo Salas, Tommy Salas, Lucio Salas, three sisters, Amelia Salas, Josie Encinias, and Cindy Romero, three Grandkids, Kuandale, Kayden, and Kimberlee, along with Nephews and Nieces.

Pallbearers will be Ray Gutierrez, Veronica Gutierrez, Israel Rodriquez, Archie Romero, Kathy Shallenberger, Pete Salas. Honorary Pallbearers are Sonya Montoya, Berto Grijalva, and Ben Rodriquez.

Arrangements are under the personal care of the professionals at Steed-Todd Funeral Home and Crematory, 800 E Manana Blvd, Clovis, New Mexico (575) 763-5541.
