Kenneth Jetton

Celebration of life service for Kenneth Jetton, 85, of Clovis, New Mexico will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 27, 2015 at Steed Todd Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends Marshall Fair and Tommy Holestead officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Steed Todd Funeral Home.

Kenneth passed from this life Monday, March 23, 2015. He was born August 20, 1929 in Bristow, Oklahoma to the late Vester Eugene Jetton and Ethel Furr Jetton.

Kenneth served as a sergeant in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He married Norma Jean Belknap, October 9, 1969 in Seminole, Texas. Kenneth was employed by Phillips Petroleum Company, living in Scottland and Norway for nine years while working as a superintendent offshore, he eventually retired from the company after 35 years.

He was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church of Clovis for over 17 years, serving in the Baptist Mission Service corps, but Kenneth's greatest love was working with the Baptist Disaster Relief Team and Volunteer Builders.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Clara Jean Jetton and a son, Kenneth Harold Rash.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his loving wife, Norma Jean, of the home, daughters; Sandra Fullerton and husband Thurman of Clovis, Tammy Jetton of Arkansas, Debra Noorda and husband Brent of Saint George, Utah, sons; Terry Lee Rash and wife Sharon of San Antonio, Texas, Gary Wayne Rash of Oberlen, Kansas, 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Disaster Relief Fund at Calvary Baptist Church or the Baptist Children's Home of New Mexico.
