Kenneth Rex McDonald died December 3, 2009, in Dallas, Texas. He was born August 23, 1962, in Earth, Texas to O. D. and Myrtle Price McDonald.

He was a painter by trade. He attended school in Muleshoe, Texas and attended college at E.N.M.U. in Portales, New Mexico. He lived in Clovis from 1982 1996 when he moved to Dallas, Texas. He leaves behind 4 children: 2 daughters, Diamond Bonner and Brianna McDonald of Clovis, New Mexico; 2 sons Mozart McDonald and Darius McDonald of Dallas, Texas; his mother, Myrtle McDonald of Farwell, Texas; 7 sisters, Evelyn Avery of Grand Prairie, Texas, Rebecca Mason of Wylie, Texas, Helen Glover of Fritch, Texas, Shirley Wallace of Santa Anna, California, Lisa McDonald of Farwell, Texas, Donna McDonald of Hanover, Pennsylvania, and Michelle Sanchez of Dallas, Texas; 5 brothers, Willie Earl McDonald of Plano, Texas, Allen Frank McDonald of Johnson City, Texas, Ronnie McDonald of Clovis, New Mexico, Rickey McDonald of Killeen, Texas, and Ronald McDonald of Amarillo, Texas. He has a host of nieces, nephews, and uncles, and 4 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, O. D. McDonald and brother Lonzo McDonald.

Pallbearers are Donald Rogers, Darius McDonald, Ronnie McDonald, Rickey McDonald, Ronald McDonald, and Rondale McDonald.

Services will be held Saturday, December 12, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at Steed-Todd Chapel with Bishop W. Charles Green officiating. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis, New Mexico.
