Kenneth Nolde

Kenneth J. Nolde age 76, of Logan, New Mexico, entered into heaven on Friday, January 4, 2013. Kenneth was born on October 1, 1936 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to the home of Henry and Mollie Weitzel Nolde.

He grew up as a son of a farmer in Nebraska and Wyoming. He kept his mother and father on their toes. Kenneth was full of life from day one He loved to play jokes, find trouble and have a good time. He traveled the U.S. for Allied Van Lines, seeing many wonderful places and always returning with a new story to tell. Kenneth married Toni and settled down in Iowa as a lease operator for Texaco until moving in the late 80s to San Antonio, Texas, where he reunited with Allied Van Lines as a Moving Associate. He retired in 2008 and moved to Logan, New Mexico with his wife. Kenneth loved his family and felt blessed to have them. He loved his dogs, and helping people. He was an avid gardener, woodworker and collector of many things. He enjoyed building and making unique things for people. Kenneth also enjoyed delivering meals for the Logan Senior Center and taking people for their appointments and being a friend to all. He always enjoyed a good joke, a cold beer, and listening to the oldies. Kenneth believed in God, attended church and is now resting in heaven with his mother, father, and brother. He will be greatly missed.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 43 years, Toni Nolde of the home daughters, Jerry Strauch, Pam Nolde, Tammy Jones, Shannon Schulz, and Jill McMahan brother, William Nolde sister, Patty Landreth and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place.
