Kent Wallis

Kent Wallis age 58, of Farwell, Texas formally of Kermit, Texas passed away at his home in Farwell, Texas Wednesday, December 11, 2013. He was born November 22, 1955 in Pampa, Texas to Herman and Maxine Hill Wallis.

Kent graduated from Mobeetie, Texas in 1973, he was a member of the FFA and worked in the Oil Fields his whole life. He worked for Energy Transfer as a Compliance Supervisor. He was a volunteer EMT for 17 years and worked with Operation Life Saver for the Railroad. He was a Docent for Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad and a member of the friends of CTSRR for 10 years. He was very active in 4H as a leader and helping with stock shows. He married Tammi Lovelace He served as president of the Kermit, TX Rotary Club for 3 years and was a member for 12 years. Loved to grill for home football games and be a servant to others. He attended Ranchvale Baptist Church.

Kent is survived by his wife Tammi Wallis of Farwell, Texas daughter Shelby Jon Perryman of Wolforth, TX daughter Debra Wallis of Shamrock, TX and 3 step daughters Megan Bilbrey of Wink, TX Lindsey Adrian King of Altus, OK and Keeley Chris Schultz of Vancover, WA step father Frank Liggins of Pampa, TX step mother Lura Hall of Kerrville, TX brother Kim Wallis of Kerrville, TX 5 grandchildren Maddison Bilbrey of Wink, TX, Trenton Bilbrey of Wink, TX, Logan King of Altus, Ok, Addysen King of Altus, OK, and Lucas Schultz of Vancover, WA. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and a brother Neal Wallis.

Memorial Services will be held Sunday, December 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ranchvale Baptist Church in Ranchvale, NM with Rev. Greg Martin officiating.
