Kevin Rousseau

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kevin Andrew Rousseau, 69, who departed this life peacefully on April 7, 2025. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on July 29, 1955, Kevin spent his life devoted to his family, his country, and his passions.

A proud veteran, Kevin served in the United States Air Force from November 16, 1973, until his discharge on November 30, 1993 during which he served in Desert Storm. He dedicated two more decades of his life to Cannon Air Force Base, where he skillfully worked in heating and repair. His commitment to service and his unmatched work ethic were hallmarks of his character.

Kevin's greatest joy was found in the company of his loved ones. He cherished his daughter, Merinda Pruitt, as well as his granddaughters, Riannah Wiker and Adrianne Lentz. He is also survived by his sister Sue Southerland and niece Tammy (David) Philips, great nephews PAYTON, Tyler and Cody, his great nieces Maddie and Gracie, all of whom will miss him dearly.

An avid board game enthusiast, Kevin delighted in evenings filled with laughter and competition. His love for Texas Hold 'Em at the casino brought him great joy, as did his passion for football. Kevin lived his best life. He led a life rich with adventures, traveling going on many cruises and pursuing the activities that brought him happiness.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation at the Steed Todd Funeral Home Chapel on April 13, 2025, at 3:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the Prince Street Baptist Church on April 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM, followed by interment at Lawn Haven.

As we gather to celebrate Kevin's remarkable life, we take comfort in knowing that the love he gave will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy of joy, service, and love will forever remain a guiding light for his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
