La Dona Beevers

La Dona Ewers Beevers, 71, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 11th, 10:00am at Parkland Baptist Church, 921 Parkland Drive, Clovis, New Mexico with Pastor Wayne Boydstun officiating.  There will be a viewing Tuesday, August 10th, 4:00-6:00 pm at the Steed Todd Funeral Home.

LaDona was born September 16, 1949 to Walter and Cleta Ewers in Clovis, New Mexico where she lived most of her life.  She worked as a dispatcher as ICX until moving on to work as a Crew Caller for the BNSF Railroad.   Following the Railroad, she began her career as a Civil Servant at Cannon Air Force Base where she remained until her retirement in 2012.   In her retirement she served as a Child Advocate with LaCasa until she moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2017.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Cleta Ewers.

LaDona is survived by her son, Walter (Kerrie) Beevers of Clovis, New Mexico and her daughter, Sharla (Tim) Davis of Albuquerque.

Her greatest joy was her Grandchildren:    Trate (Darien) Thompson of Crystal City, Texas,  Colt and Kimber Beevers of Clovis, New Mexico and Gauge Davis of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

She absolutely adored her Great Granddaughter, Dakota Thompson!!!
